There were extremely slow flushing toilets in the homes and No Wake signs on the streets of Alhambra Circle, but we were grateful and luckier than some other folks on the Gulf Coast.
Saturday brought more rain, and the unicorn fell off of its pedestal. There was a brief, successful unicorn rescue mission. The unicorn is fine. I need new rain boots.

Yesterday’s casual tropical storm damaged the mid-garden fence. It’s gone now.
Today we picked up some new succulents from Orchard down the street. If you kill a plant, you can bring it back for a 100% refund. If you’re a member, you don’t even need a receipt. #thefuture

This week I went to ECHO Global Farm in Ft. Myers. Aaron and Jack helped me pick out some new fruits and vegetables to grow in my backyard.
