The Garden Project

The South Alhambra Garden project began in late September 2016.

As a single Millennial female, I would be more casual about the location, but the 300+ 6-10″ tall sunflowers would still give me away.

My rockstar Dad helped move Jay and me in.  🙂

I naturally stand like a cheerleader…  Go Naples Hurricanes!

I chose red mulch to match the color of my hair.  The mulch and my hair have become more blonde as the Garden Project matures.

Let’s be honest.  I had no use for a piggy bank this size, so I cut the back off of it and turned it into a planter.  The mixed lettuce seeds came from the Florida Department of Agriculture.
